Albums can sometimes come together quickly and other times can take years to complete. It can depend on whether the songs were written in a way that suits the way the musicians play, the collective energy of everyone in the recording studio and most importantly, where the mindset is on that day. For example, I never record music if anyone is in a bad mood, cranky etc because I (superstitiously, yes) believe that all energy ends up on the recording and thus any negative energy is transmitted to the listener. Here’s a photo of Kokolo hashing out bass pasts at our fratello FABIO VERARDO’s studio in beautiful SABAUDIA, Italy. The song will be included on the next studio album which will be entitled, ‘AFRIQUE NARCOTIQUE”. Grazie mille sempre, Fabio!!!
